Despite the interim bankruptcy, Donald Trump still has big goals. His daughter and son-in-law are no longer available for this.

Washington, DC – U.S. interim counts are still ongoing. In some states, counting must continue until Monday (11/14). But even without a final result, one thing is certain: this year’s midterm elections were a bitter defeat for the Republicans. This applies not only, but especially to Donald Trump.

Because many of the candidates who had supported the ex-president in the election campaign have been penalized by voters in the meantime. Mehmet Oz clearly lost to Democrat John Fetterman in Pennsylvania. Herschel Walker also landed behind Raphael Warnock in Georgia. According to a census of ABC news 14 candidates who directly supported Donald Trump would have missed their election target, in turn causing him to “foam”.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner: Don’t feel like the White House

Despite the poor interim results, Donald Trump is clearly still planning a “major announcement”. He had promised that a day before the November 15 midterms. It is widely expected that Trump will then announce his presidential candidacy for the 2024 US election. Numerous Republican key players, seemingly tearing themselves apart, have begged Trump not to do so in recent days so as not to jeopardize Walker’s chances in an upcoming runoff election in Georgia on December 6.

If Donald Trump ignores the warnings from his own ranks, he will have to forgo some of his family support if he flees again. According to a CNN report, neither Donald’s daughter Ivanka Trump nor her husband Jared Kushner want anything to do with Trump’s candidacy again. The pair are currently “not interested in anything related to Washington or the White House.”

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner withdraw after election defeat

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner followed Donald Trump to Washington, D.C. after his victory in the 2016 US election. Both got influential jobs as advisers and advisers to the president. The Trump family was accused of nepotism. While Ivanka presented herself as a campaigner for women’s rights during her time in the White House, Jared Kushner had a job that would have been enough for 20 terms in office: among other things, he had to care for veterans of the US Army, the Middle Bring peace to the East and end the opioid crisis in the US.

After the defeat of Donald Trump in 2020, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner initially withdrew completely from the public eye. The couple, who no longer live in the capital but in Palm Beach (Florida) – not far from Mar-a-Lago, the residence of Donald Trump, have remained silent to this day. Ivanka Trump occasionally posts one vacation photo or the other on Instagram, but both seem to have ended politics. They also stayed away from the public during the midterms, unlike, for example, Ivanka’s brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, both of whom campaigned very actively for Trump’s nominees.

According to Kate Bennet, a journalist at CNN, there is an obvious reason for this: the family is now “arguing” over political issues. Trump’s “obsession” with returning to the White House would be shared by his sons, but opposed by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. (Daniel Dillman)
