In the fighting game Street Fighter 6 you can create your own characters

Street Fighter 6 Beta has launched, allowing fans to create their own fighters. However, it soon became apparent that the character creator offers players much more freedom than they expected.

This is Street Fighter 6: The latest game in the popular Street Fighter beat ’em up series shakes up the gameplay with new modes and an open world. For example, players can move through a city with their self-created character and make their way to the top of the street fighters or play through the story.

The first beta test started on Friday, October 7 and will run until Monday, October 10. So the fans of the series can try out many features of the upcoming fighting game this weekend. One of them is the character editor and this brings a lot of entertainment in parts of the game community (header image of @ViewtifulJimm).

What the players do: Street Fighter 6 developer Capcom has released many games with their own character editors in the past. The most famous example is Monster Hunter: World, which sold excellently.

But none were as detailed and versatile as the creator of Street Fighter 6. Just a few hours after the beta started, the first photos of completely crazy-looking characters were circulating on the internet.

The video shows the many possibilities of the character maker.

The editor offers countless setting options that are absurd. There are the usual adjustments that you will find in many other games such as facial features, height, hairstyles, etc.

The crux of the Creator, however, is that all of these adjustments scale completely independently. This means that for example, you can grab an extremely large head on a small body or the character can have very muscular legs with a thin torso. The proportions do not have to be taken into account.

Here are some examples of the creations:

On reddit and social media, players joke that these characters could be straight out of a horror game.

  • “This is more Saints Row than the last Saints Row” – @Cheeky_Freeky
  • “Can I make a character that looks like Crash Bandicoot?” – @ItsNotakin
  • “I can’t believe they managed to come up with a character creator more chaotic than Ark Survival Evolved.” – @VictoryVictini4

All in all, players are sure to enjoy the first Street Fighter 6 feature to try out in the beta. At the end of the test on Monday, we will certainly find more such creations on the Internet.
