Destiny 2: Server Down for Hotfix 6.2.0.8 on 10/11.

Destiny 2 is getting a little downtime today on Tuesday. MeinMMO will therefore keep you informed during the maintenance and will already reveal all possible changes that Bungie could tackle.

You need to know: Bungie will squeeze in another minor maintenance for Destiny 2 on Tuesday. This means that the servers will go offline for a short time tonight and Bungie will bring the planned 6.2.0.8 update online.

Maintenance on 10/11. – All times and server down

Bungie has released a detailed schedule for playersso you are prepared and know when you can’t gamble.

These times are important today:

  • At 6:00 PM German time, maintenance work will start in the background on all platforms.
  • From 18:45 the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked out of all activities.
  • The servers are scheduled to come back online around 7:00 PM and update 6.2.0.8 will be rolled out for all platforms. You can then log in again to play.
  • Even if the servers are back online, maintenance will officially continue until 8 p.m.

To be important: Even if you’ve downloaded the update and are back in the game, you may experience connectivity issues until the end of maintenance at 8pm. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may not be properly accessible for a while after the update.

This will change with update 6.2.0.8 in Season 18

That brings the update Today: So far no information about possible fixes has been disclosed, but Bungie already has these bugs on the screen:

  • In The Expedition activity, Brawlers will despawn if they are not defeated before the charge reaches 100%.
  • The crew upgrade of the hidden compartment does not give a Deep Sight weapon.
  • Players who participate in an ongoing Ketch Crash activity can get stuck behind a closed door until members of the fire team start the boss fight.
  • In Ketch Crash, the Surveillance Overseer’s health bar can disappear or display inaccurate health stats if damaged too quickly.

If you encounter any problems in the game yourself, it is recommended that you report them directly via the official Bungie Help forum to let the developers know.
